Service Bulletin
No. : OST-849
Date: May 9, 2007
_____________________________________________________________

Model: DVD-3800

Subject: Countermeasure for improving the malfunction upon playing back
particular discs.

Symptom: 1) During the "TITLE REPEAT" playback of a DVD Video on which
the Chapter Number "0" has been recorded, the FL Display stops while it is
indicating the chapter "0", upon returning to the first chapter from the last
chapter. As a result, the unit does not start the playback of the first chapter.
2) Other cases: The unit is incapable of playing back particular DVD Audio Discs
such as Tchaikovsky, etc.

Solution: The firmware has been corrected.

Modification:
Regarding the subject models, we have informed you of the countermeasure for
the malfunction upon playing back particular discs via Service bulletin # OST-
835. However, from now on, please apply the following modification for
improving the malfunction upon playing back particular discs.

Note:
This modification does not include the countermeasure for improving the
malfunction outlined in OST-835, i.e., "Upon playing back a particular DVD Audio
Disc "ATAGIIN", the unit repeats only one Track even though performing the
REPEAT ALL".
Therefore, please apply the modification found in the OST-835 only when the
malfunction occurs upon playing back that particular DVD Audio Disc "ATAGIIN".
