Subject: Malfunction of CEC control.
Countermeasure is applicable only upon claim from the customer.

Symptom: CEC function (HDMI control) doesn't operate correctly when the
power supply of the A/V amplifier is turned off when TV for CEC function and
Player are connected with A/V amplifier.
Case 1:
1) Condition: TV and Player for CEC function (HDMI control) are used.
2) Setting: The state of the power supply of the A/V amplifier is in the following
state either. When you turn off the power supply of the A/V amplifier with
Power SW When the setting of CEC function (HDMI control) makes the power
supply of the A/V amplifier a standby by turning off.
3) Operation: When you operate Player from TV in CEC (HDMI control).

Case 2:
1) Setting: TV and Player2 for CEC function (HDMI control) are used.
2) Operation: The state of the power supply of the A/V amplifier is in the
following state either. When you turn off the power supply of the A/V amplifier
with Power SW. When the setting of CEC function (HDMI control) makes the
power supply of the A/V amplifier a standby by turning off.
3) Operation: When you operate Player2 from TV in CEC (HDMI control).




4. CAUSE: When the power supply of the A/V amplifier is turned off, the HDMI in
A/V amplifier circuit might obstruct the control of CEC function (HDMI control).

Solution:
MODIFICATION: Please replace and delete the following parts on "1U-3799
DIGITAL. P.W.B. UNIT".
1) Replace the Resistor "100 k ohms" with "10k ohms" for "RR956"




2) Delete the Capacitor "CC969 (330pF)".
