Model: AVR-889
Subject: Countermeasure for a malfunction that was reported from the
market.
Countermeasure is only for a claim from the customer.
Symptom: 1) When A/V amplifier is connected with "ASD-11R", "iPhone 3G"
cannot output Video signal by "Remote mode".
2) When "Audyssey MultEQ" is operated at the (AAC) signal decipherment of
Dolby Digital and DTS, the output characteristic of sub-woofer is not correct.
Solution: We corrected the MICON software so that the unit operates
properly.
MODIFICATION:
Install the Exclusive Writer Software to your PC and rewrite your customer's unit
upon claim. (Please refer to the supplied rewriting procedures.)
The Installation Software of the Exclusive Writer Software to be installed to the
PC. "FWCV_AVR_AVC2309_AVR889_V0070_SETUP.exe"
The Exclusive Writer Software: (Note: after the installation, a short cut of the
following Exclusive Writer Software is created on the Desk-top of the PC.)
"FWCV_AVR_AVC2309_AVR889_V0070.exe"
(The Exclusive Writer Software for the AVR-1909/789 that is installed using the
above Installation Software.)
