Features and benefits
1.Taking the following waterproof measures, we have almost solved problems of electric leakage and shocks. (Compared
with 4107B, electric leak and shock risks of these models are about 1/500.)
1) Waterproof cover is attached to the back of the motor housing (the inlet of cooling wind)
2) Waterproof cover is attached to the window between the motor housing and the gear housing.
3) The lower part (on the base side) and the side (about 2/3 on the handle side) of the window between the motor housing
and the gear housing are sealed to prevent water from coming in.
(Note) Although we have taken appropriate waterproof measures, wear rubber gloves and boots for your safety.
Except the above, the other features and benefits are the same as those of 4107B.

Capacity and comparison
The cutting capacities of these models are the same as those of 4107B and 4108B, but preventive measures against electric
leakage are much better. Their insulation capacities will not deteriorate even after long-hour operations. After cutting
1000m of 50mm-thick U-shaped ditches, their performance remains almost unchanged. (When mud adhering to the
waterproof cover is removed every 300m.)

Repair
Surfaces of the gear housing and the motor housing should be joined together not to make any clearance after removing
mud adhering to the surfaces.
(Remove mud completely to securely join these surfaces together.)
