Maintenance Schedule
To ensure that the copier produces the good quality copies and to extend its service visit
intervals, it is recommended that the maintenance jobs described in this schedule be
carried out as instructed.

Notes
1) Be sure to replace the Paper Take-Up Roll and Separator Roll Assy with the new one
at the same time.
2) Be sure to replace the Paper Dust Remover and Ozone Filter with the new one at the
same time.
3) Be sure to replace the Bk Toner Cartridge and the Filter (contained in the package of
the Black Toner Cartridge ) with the new one at the same time.
4) When the Toner Cartridge is replaced, also clean the Comb Electrode.
5) Numerical values for the maintenance intervals are those for the life counter.
6) Contents of the above maintenance schedule are subject to change without notice.
Guidelines for Life Specifications Values by Unit

Bottle after a waste toner near-full condition has
been detected.

detected when about 3.5 K copies are made
after a waste toner near-full condition has
been detected.

reached its life value, copying is prohibited.

Notes
*1 Numerical values for the full detection of the waste toner vary according to the ratio of
the number of the monochrome and color copies.
*2 When the number of copies has reached " Copying/Printing Stop conditions ", if
" User" is selected , copying is prohibited and if " Service " is selected , end of life
warning is indicated with the procedure of Tech. Rep Mode->System Input->Unit
Change.
-The life specifications values represent the number of copies made or figures
equivalent to it when given conditions are met. They can be more or less depending
on the copier operating conditions of each individual user.
