*1 Some BIOS's impose a capacity limitation
for ATA drives.
DHEA-3xxxx drives provide a method to
change the Logical Disk Geometry to
help overcome these limitations.
It may not be possible to solve all
problems in this way and third party
hardware or a software utility may be
required. For example

*2 Difficulties have been identified when
installing OS/2 Warp onto DHEA-3xxxx
drives. The solution is detailed in the
DHEA-3xxxx Hints and Tips document.
*3 The DMA Driver provided by VIA for
use with FIC system boards may not
function succesfully with Windows v3.11.
A revised driver is available from VIA.
*4 The BIOS timeout value is too short (5
seconds) to allow the DHEA drive to
spin-up in response to a command, after
being in Standby mode.
