Phenomenon:
Paper Jam 88, 83 or skewed paper output.
The reason for this phenomenon is the middle tray in
the finisher. Especially the side jogger in the middle
tray.


Counter measure:
With this guide we remove the bad flexibility of the
side joggers. Additional we need grease and very fine Wrong position

sandpaper.

- Switch off the system, unplugg the power cord and
remove the middle tray (picture 1)

- Attention ! Please aware of the correct position of the
middle tray. At the pictures you could see the wrong and
right positions (red mark is completely or partly visible).

Counter measure:
- Remove the paper guide D6 (right picture)




- Remove the cover (be carefull with the cabels)

Counter measure:
- Remove the shaft of the side joggers (right picture)




- Remove one screw. It is not necessary to remove the
complete guide. You could shift it to remove the side joggers.

Counter measure:
- Remove the side joggers. At the picture you
can see the black abrasion




- Remove the motor.
- Use a file to rasp the metal lug. Finally use fine
sandpaper to smooth.
- Clean the metal lug

Counter measure:




- Mount the motor and the side jogger. Grease
the black rack curser. If the black rack cursor
damaged please remove it (303JY36120)

- Polish the guides with sandpaper (1 and 2
in the picture)

- Test if you can move the side joggers
smoothly

already installed. If not, please install
them. Please take a look at the
pictures to check the right location.

- Reinstall the middle tray into the
finisher and adjust the homeposition of
the big belt.

Counter measure:
- Close all cover. Plug in the power cord and switch
on the system.
- Run the installation routine of the finisher.
- Adjust the paper curl (Service Manual 1-5-2)
- Test all functions.
