Dismantling: Disconnect power cord and remove shaving head frame Unscrew the two housing screws, raise the cover slightly at the top and release the cover by moving the latter towards the bottom. When conducting the oscillating spring adjustment take caution the opened up shaver is always switched on. After having loosened screws (49) remove motor with printed circuit board from the housing lower part and disconnect circuit from the motor. Reassembly: Reconnect circuit board to the motor and place the unit into the housing lower part and tighten screws. Important! Push the switch button to position "1" before remounting the housing upper part, place the upper part at the top in the housing lower part and then close the housing at the bottom. Ensure that the rubber seal is seated correctly in the housing recesses. Finally retighten the two housing screws. Carry out final test.

Attention! From May 1988 on, the way of contacting motor to PCB will be changed. The motor will be furnished with sockets and the PCB with corresponding pins. After running out of inventory, in case of a defect only motors of the new version will be delivered. In this case, also the PCB must be replaced. The PCB in the previous design can still be delivered in the future. If the PCB becomes defective, only this component needs to be exchanged.
